Citizens Community Credit Union has experienced extensive growth in both membership and assets over the past few years. The trend continues into the new millennium. One change that comes as a direct result of this growth is our new name. The name was changed from Lake Region Credit Union to Citizens Community Credit Union as of January 2001.

The Credit Union's name was changed to better reflect the wide variety of members it serves. The members of Citizens Community Credit Union are involved citizens in the communities in which they live. Members live, work, and play in North Dakota communities like Devils Lake, Lakota, Bisbee, Larimore, Northwood, Fort Totten, Grand Forks and St John.

The Credit Union's newest branch office is  located in the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Grand Forks, North Dakota.  It opened in October  2006.  This location brings the total of Citizens Community Credit Union offices to ten. These offices serve over 10,000 members.

Citizens Community Credit Union is looking forward to continued growth in our membership base. As a non-profit member-owned financial institution, we continually strive to improve our efficiency and effectiveness. Since members share ownership of the Credit Union, we love to hear your comments and suggestions

Excellent service to our members is what sets us apart!
